On November 2, 1978, Barbara and her boyfriend and friends went to a local disco. Partway through the night, Barbara got into an argument with her boyfriend, so she decided to go home early. She was last seen walking home from the disco in the early hours of November 3, 1978. She was reported missing by her roommate the next day.
