Barbara Jean Aleksivich (née Jones) was a young woman who disappeared from New York in 1973.
Disappearance[]
Barbara was last seen with her husband at the local Elks lodge nearby Gansevoort and Williams Street in Bath, New York. For reasons unknown, Barbara decided to head home early, leaving her husband at the lodge. She began to walk the two blocks to their home in the 100 block of East William Street, however never arrived and has never been heard of since.
In October 2020, Richard William Davis was named as a possible suspect in her case. He died in 2012.
