April Rose Zane was a teenager who disappeared from Frankfort, Illinois. Her date of disappearance is listed as April 18, 1977, but she may have actually went missing a year earlier, in 1976.
Her latest age progression depicts her at 55.
Case[]
Zane disappeared after expressing plans to visit a friend. She never made it to her destination.
April’s family moved to Frankfort from Chicago when she was 11. She reportedly had trouble adjusting to the move and missed her friends. April had a history of running away, although never for an extended period of time, and she was frequently found in or around Chicago. She had previously been arrested in the Chicago area for curfew violations.
April’s parents are now deceased, but her younger sister continues to search for her.
