Virginia Anne Rambus, who went by her middle name, was a young woman who went missing in 1985. Foul play is suspected in her case. She was previously thought to be a Green River victim, but this was later ruled out.
Case[]
Anne was last seen leaving her apartment to attend a party at around 7pm on May 20, 1985. As she was last seen in the Seattle area during the time Gary Ridgway was active, investigators theorized she may have been one of his victims, despite there being little evidence she lived a high-risk lifestyle, with the exception of reportedly using marijuana and cocaine.
Over three decades after vanishing, it was announced that police believed Jesse Pratt, a resident in the same apartment complex, was suspected to be responsible, as he had since been convicted of another woman's murder.
