Annalycia Maria Cruz was an infant believed to have been abducted while in the care of her mother's boyfriend.

Case[]

Annalycia disappeared while on a fishing trip with her mother's boyfriend, William Russell Spear. She was last seen at Clyde's Market in Chiloquin, Oregon, after the fishing trip. Spear had left her in the car while he went inside to buy an apple. When he came back, Annalycia was gone.

Spear had stopped at a gas station before the fishing trip, and the attendant recalled hearing an infant in the car crying. This is the last time anyone besides Spear knew where Annalycia was. The gas station attendant died a few days after Annalycia disappeared.

Annalycia was reported missing at 6:19 PM, nearly an hour after she was last seen. Spear had driven home to Annalycia's mother, Alice Fowler, and asked if she had Annalycia. They then returned to Clyde's market to look for her and called the police when they didn't find her.

Spear is a person of interest in Annalycia's disappearance. In 1995, Fowler attempted to sue Spear for $4 million. She alleged that Annalycia vanished due to Spear's negligence. However, the suit was dismissed due to a lack of evidence.
