Andre Terrance Bryant was a baby who vanished in 1989. His mother, who went missing with him, was later found deceased.
His latest age progression depicts him at 33.
Case[]
Andre was last seen on March 29, 1989, in Brooklyn, New York. The day before his disappearance, his mother, Monique Rivera, had been taking all three of her children for a walk when she met two women whom she may have known in middle school and befriended them. After asking Monique about her children and asking to hold Andre, the women convinced her to go shopping with them. They bought her pants and a shirt before dropping her off at home. That evening, Monique mentioned to her husband, Timothy Bryant, that the women used a fraudulent credit card.
On March 29, 1989, Monique planned to go shopping with the two women again in White Plains, New York. Her sister-in-law, Patricia, had agreed to babysit the children that day. However, the women insisted that Monique take Andre with her. They also would not collect her from her apartment, where Patricia was minding the children, and instead called Monique from a pay phone, which was just around the corner, to ask her to come down and meet them. Andre and Monique were last seen getting into the women's car at approximately 2 PM.
Monique's remains were found on the morning of March 30, 1989, in the woods by Eastchester Bay in the Bronx. She had been strangled and suffered a blow to the head. There were no signs of Andre, the two women or their vehicles at the scene.
Progressed to 28
Investigators believe that the women Monique met were responsible for her death and Andre's disappearance. Both women were African American and around 5'7 tall. One of the women was approximately 30 years old and heavy-set. The other woman was approximately 22 years old with red hair. They drove a 1988 or 1989 burgundy Pontiac Grand Am Sports Edition with tinted windows and possibly also Maryland license plates. Both women remain unidentified.
Police also believe that Andre was sold into an illegal adoption ring. Andre's case may be linked to those of Shane Walker and Christopher Dansby, two toddlers who vanished from the same park as one another in 1989.
